Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“Welcome to Kingswood South Public School
At Kingswood South Public School, we are proud to be a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning community where every student is valued.
Our vision is clear:
“A school dedicated to providing inclusive, quality learning environments, and a school culture that promotes high expectations and success for all.”
We cater to a diverse range of student needs, from those requiring additional learning support to students who are highly gifted and talented. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to deliver tailored programs that ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Our school is strengthened by its partnerships with a range of external support agencies and is proud to host a School Wellbeing Officer who supports the emotional and social development of our students. We are also the base school for the Penrith Hearing and Penrith Vision teams, allowing us to further support students with additional needs.
On-site, families benefit from the convenience of the Penrith City Council’s Before and After School Care services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment beyond school hours.
Our strong commitment to early childhood education is evident through our Early Intervention Program for students with additional needs and our government preschool. The preschool offers a high-quality, play-based learning program that plays a vital role in a child’s early development, fostering creativity, problem-solving, language, social skills, emotional growth, and curiosity. Programs are thoughtfully designed and guided by the Early Years Learning Framework to ensure purposeful and meaningful experiences for every child.
Our school community is also supported by a vibrant and active Parents & Citizens Association (P&C), which plays an important role in fundraising and enhancing school programs and facilities, helping to make each child's school experience positive and memorable.
I warmly welcome all families to Kingswood South Public School, a place where every child is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.”
